🎿 Guild Wars 2 Classes And Subclasses
Overview. Warriors are the primary frontline characters, combining heavy armor with melee attacks. Warriors can tank effectively by virtue of their high armor rating, enabling allied casters to deal damage undisturbed and taking pressure off healers. Warriors can also be damage per second (DPS) machines, well suited to applying pressure and
Charr (female): 1) Warrior (which I already have, in male form) due military culture and the Blood Legion. 2) Engineer, due the Iron Legion and being charrs the pioneers of that class, plus their war machines and overall architecture. 3) Thief, due the Ash Legion and the furtive nature of felines.
Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thornsâ„¢ is the first expansion for Guild Wars 2. Founded on the idea that the journey is the goal, the Heart of Thorns expansion continues the Guild Wars 2 tradition of challenging the conventions of MMOs to fulfill the promise of what online worlds should be.
Skills. Rangers are experts in wilderness survival and nature magic. Traps. Rangers punish enemies by hiding traps on the field of battle. Traps can freeze, cripple, and poison unwary foes who wander into their paths.
No reliable sustain on any build without gimping your team damage potential, meaning warrior is extremely pigeon-holed into the duelist category, where it doesn't shine compared to other roamers. It hard counters a few OP builds like MM necro, but isn't really viable as anything but a counter-pick in most games. 2. 2.
Stances. These skills temporarily boost the warrior’s combat abilities. They can enter a stance to temporarily increase their adrenaline or health regeneration, to shrug off damage, to give themselves boons, or to ignore attacks that could knock them off their feet.
The other big thing is, unlike the other reply in the comments, I'm less inclined to think you can just adapt any given class and map it to an existing class as a subclass. Guild Wars 2 professions have defining mechanics that are important for the feel of the class. Ideally, if time permits, you want to build them from the ground up.
On world 2, map 3 you will see a guy that looks like the first guy who gave you your class. He will give you a new class to choose that would add a 3rd skill tab to your charecter. It would also change the way your charecter needs his skills to be put as so i suggest watching god of idleon on yt for a guide to some classes. Subclasses do indeed
Rev is a really strong class. It has the highest avg. Condition DPS and the highest heal output. If it's heal your group has to stack, but since in fractals and raids you will stack most of the time, it's fine. It is also one of 2 classes that can provide alacrity, which is very important. Further more it has really strong CC and provides.
Shroud skill 2 now additionally converts boons into conditions. Parasitic Contagion : A percentage of your condition damage heals you. Healing will not occur while life force replaces health. Tier: Grandmaster: Target the Weak : Increases critical-hit chance for each condition on the foe. Gain condition damage based on your precision. Weakening
Yes, there are some builds for most classes that focus on support, tho those are mostly used in endgame content. The story is about one character, so even though a group can join you in story instances, npcs and cutscenes will focus on the player hosting the instance. Aside from that, most content is meant to be played in groups of various
Untamed is the spamm build. It refunds ability cooldowns when usinf CC on an enemy. It uses hammer as a melee weapon and then basically constantly rotates through its damage abilities then all its stun abilities to reset all its damage abilities. If you want a spamm away meta build this is it for open world.
